Few companies can boast the rich heritage of NSM Music. Well into its seventh decade, NSM Music continues to exceed the expectations of its three founding members Nack, Schulze and Menke, who created the Company in Germany to produce American-style jukeboxes in the 1950s.
The Company has gained an enviable reputation for combining aesthetics with technology and were responsible for many breakthroughs in the jukebox music industry ranging from state of the art CD changing devices to the most attractive interactive digital jukeboxes on the market.
The 1970s was the golden age of NSM jukeboxes, when style and art met head-on with the the heady sounds of the decade. The period 1970-82 saw the best of the vinyl era with boxes which fitted in with contemporary furniture such as the stylish ’Consul’ and ‘Prestige’ ranges.
The transition to CD technology was not a problem for NSM,who came up with impressive patented CD technology, which powered iconic machines such as Digital Thunder,Silver Sky and the Galaxy range.
The NSM Country 2000 is noted for having an exceptionally fast CD changer, which of course minimises the gaps between the tracks, and the publicity material of the time boasts ‘Fantastic 3D Surround Sound’. (so much better than the flat 2D kind, we’ve always thought). In fact, this machine was a pretty fast mover all round because its title display mechanism was a class leader too, allowing you to find your favourite songs quicker than ever. This example has been thoroughly checked and serviced by our technicians, and of course comes with our stand one year parts and labour warranty.
It’s very easy to set up, has great programming flexibility, and features a superb digital amplifier which incorporated the very latest technology. Efficient cooling meant that no fan was required so purists could at last enjoy their music safe in the knowledge that it would be free of any unwanted background accompaniment. Despite its somewhat misleading name, rest assured that the Country 2000 will happiliy play any style of musical genre, and most certainly will not default to a Tammy Wynette compilation at the first opportunity!
All in all, a very neat machine whose performance belies its relatively compact size. As with all wall mounted jukeboxes you’ve no fear of losing any valuable floor space, and at just 36 cm deep the Country 2000 will make sure there’s plenty of dancing space left for your guests!
Music itself is an important part of our business, as reflected by our treasured CD library, so we are able to help you source and create the perfect playlist. We also make all of the title cards in original typewriter font – so if you’re a bit stuck for choice, we are only too happy to help!
The Games Room Company is one of the oldest jukebox dealers in the country. Our founder, Reginald Waldersmith, first learned about jukeboxes in the early 1950s when we were servicing jukeboxes on American Air Force bases. We’ve been selling jukeboxes since 1962, so know a thing or two about our products! Our showroom will gladly assist you on any questions you may have before or after you purchase any Games Room Company equipment.
